Bio

As a journalist and humanitarian aid worker, Geraldine Ryerson Weld has covered humanitarian stories in developing countries, policy news on Capitol Hill, and health, business and society around the globe as well as her own backyard. She has traveled and worked in Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and is trained to handle communications needs in crisis responses.

Her articles and photographs have been published in an array of online and print venues. California-raised Geraldine calls Washington, DC, her home base. She is a member of the National Press Club and American Society of Media Photographers.
